The Chase Sapphire Preferred Card is the best travel credit card for versatile points. The highlight of this card is that you can book directly through the Chase Travel Portal, or transfer to various partners, to book flights, hotel rooms, and excursions. The Chase Sapphire credit card also offers periodic transfer bonuses to increase your amount of points when transferring to a partner brand.
When I started traveling, I joined several different hotel loyalty programs. For U.S. travel, I found Marriott’s loyalty program to have the best benefits, including bonus offers and room upgrades. For hotel points, I recommend checking out the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card. For international travel, I’ve found that IHG offers extensively more options and exceptional deals worldwide.
I’m a Delta girl through and through. I currently use the Delta Platinum American Express as my everyday card. The best benefits include an annual companion certificate and 15% off any Delta flight with miles.
